Frankfurt/Munich , 7th June 2016.

Euromold – World Fair for Product Development , Mold-, Pattern- and Toolmaking and central Trade Meeting-Place for 3D- printing follows its path straight further this year from October 25th until 27th, 2016 at the Exhibition Center Munich, Germany. Together with AIRTEC 2016 , the annual event for the aerospace industry for high ranking experts and managers from all over the world Euromold invites you to Munich.

“High tech events belong to high tech regions“, according to Helmut Brandl, representative of the German model- and patternmaking association and since many years member of the exhibitor board of Euromold. Euromold follows this motto after one stay in North Rhine Westphalia moving this year to the Exhibition Center Munich in the heart of the high tech region Bavaria. With this decision, Euromold fulfills the increasing requests and wishes during the last months from many representatives of the industry to move to the Bavarian capital.

Like no other European region, Bavaria aims for future , innovation , industry , technology and science. The Bavarian government sets various strong directions in order to guarantee the economic prosperity on the top level of the world economies of the following decades. There is a significant reason that Bavaria with Munich and its surroundings demonstrates uch a concentration of TecDAX enterprises. But also smaller and medium- sized producing companies and numerous start-ups and craftsmanship companies are at “home in Munich “- proudly, this is commented as “Munich Mixture”.

Shortly summarized: The ideal place for the future-oriented exhibition Euromold.

Airtec the international aerospace supply fair has demonstrated this last year: According to the exhibitors the step to move AIRTEC to Munich was due – everywhere there were comments to be heard that AIRTEC has shown a positive impulse. AIRTEC is any way recognized as a rising star.

The synergy of the two exhibitions is therefore a main reason for the decision to move with Euromold 2016 to Munich. As a world meeting-place for 3D –printing, for the world of additive manufacturing – the closeness to the aerospace industry is more than evident. Like Peter Sander , Manager Emerging Technologies at Airbus, was recently mentioned in the press , that Airbus will save with every A350-900 one ton weight per aircraft by the use of 3 D -printing. Obviously, the aerospace industry is the main user of 3 D- printing and a driving innovation power. According a recent study of the association Bitcom, 64% of the interviewed aerospace companies, believe that smart production/advanced manufacturing will take care until 2030, that the production of aircraft parts will be self- organized and more or less automatically produced and 51% believe that the production of aircrafts and aircraft parts will take place by the use of 3Dprinting. The exchange over trade boundaries like automotive and aerospace industry was always a target of Euromold –in consequence, this year together with AIRTEC in Munich.

Visitors of the two events can meet with one common ticket up to 600 exhibitors from 45 nations.
